Food market $$
A new foodie haven on the westside, this place has a multitude of food stalls and cuisines for anyone’s taste. And open every weekend! For just a $2.50 entry fee, you can access all the food and live entertainment. Family and pet friendly too! Busy, as expected, but lines weren’t too long, except for dessert.
Tried ‘That Arancini Guy’, arancini wasn’t that great, but gnocchi with cheese was amazing! Gnocchi was so pillowy. And had standard fish and chips from ‘Hooked’, fish was fresh, batter wasn’t greasy and chips were nice and crunchy! The chicken satay skewers from ‘Pondok Nasi Baker’ were not bad but nothing spectacular. ‘Tokyo Japanese Souffle’ had wonderfully fluffy pancakes, but prepare to wait 20-30 mins. ‘BBL tea’ was average, very expensive at $8 a cup, but refreshing. All in all, food on the expensive side as expected, but great vibes with live music and families around. Highlights were the gnocchi, fish, and souffle pancakes. Fun place to go with friends or family.
